4. AI-Powered Features
TailorsPal uses artificial intelligence (OpenAI GPT-4) to extract measurements from scanned measurement books. When you use this feature:
- Your measurement book images are temporarily sent to OpenAI for processing
- Images are deleted from OpenAI's systems after processing (within 30 days)
- We store the extracted measurement data and original images in your account
- You can delete measurement scans at any time from your account
5. Data Storage and Security
Cloud Storage: We use Cloudflare R2 and MongoDB Atlas to store your data securely. All data is encrypted in transit using SSL/TLS.
Image Storage: Images are stored on Cloudflare R2 with public URLs. We recommend not storing sensitive personal information in image notes.
Access Control: Your data is protected with JWT-based authentication. Only you can access your account data.
Data Retention: We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time.
6. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: Third-party services that help us operate the Service (OpenAI for AI processing, Cloudflare for storage, MongoDB for database)
- Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process
